The unusual location and the unique environment determine the design. Middle of the Rust bay the lakeside restaurant is surrounded by impressive natural and cultural space. The stunning panorama ranges from the vineyards of the hills over the reeds and the Leitha mountains to distant shores. Solely on the ground some sea views remain hidden.

The simple structure presented is timeless and elegant. It is modern, not trendy. The wooden structure follows the tradition of building on the lake, it is in context with the site. It is addressed to the lake and makes reference to the plot structure. It lies entirely on its own ground. Exteriors and interiors correspond with each other. The fitness rooms have direct visual and visual link to the River Traun. Turn, -, climbing and tennis court are glazed generously. The north side hall roof is a tectonic elevation of the sports field and to the stand. It is sport set compatible.

The functional areas of the new halls are spatially separated and individually playable. The central staircase connects them horizontally and vertically. Thus, a simplified external use of the new premises is possible. Optionally, the new building will be directly connected underground to the old building.
The new halls are not a mere addition to the stock. Take care of the historic ambience and is one urban revitalization on the banks of the River Traun.....more
