Island Interchange | Paraná River Delta | Argentina | Maxi Spina Architects


The installment of the Rosario-Victoria Bridge in 2003 allowed for crossing of the main course of the Paraná River as well as for touching down on several islands along the way. A series of these islands neighboring Rosario City were to be redesigned in order to promote short-term ecotourism, involving traveling and sailing to tranquil and unpolluted natural areas. Marinas, boating houses, golf courses and a new infrastructural node that will facilitate the interchange between different modes of transportation needed to be organized in this newly accessible landscape.....more
