DRAW were invited as one of four architects to participate in the UTS Great Hall Upgrade Competition. Our winning proposal employs two key moves: a new ‘Balcony Room’ overlooking Alumni Green and enveloping the interior of the hall in an articulated metal ‘Mantle’.
Together these moves provide the University with a highly functional and uniquely iconic public space.
