Artists' Workshop | Cinco Studio | Cuernavaca | Mexico | t3arc
This project is an art workshop that will be rented to different artists in the city of Cuernavaca. Being behind five coffee, we were obliged to respect the views you have, so we take a drop on the ground and we get a structure divided into two bodies which frees up space. The first is a volume of 6 x 15 meters, supported on a central frame to 4 meters high and where there will be individual workshops; The second is a 15x8 Galeron of meters with a height of 8m in the shop will be open for artists to work together and to carry out exhibitions.........more

Only the minimum necessary brickwork repairs were carried out to stabilise the existing ruin prior to the new structure being inserted. Decaying existing windows were left alone and vegetation growing over the dovecote was protected to allow it to continue a natural process of ageing and decay. The interior walls and ceiling of the space are lined with spruce plywood to create a timber ‘box’ within the Cor-ten shell..........more

The building Vienna House of Music, VHome arises from the claim of the city of Vienna and the city of music from yesterday and today, as a city of music par excellence. This desire leads to new life, the straight line is the characteristic geometric element of the historic city center. On the occasion of demonstrating the musical dynamic that ambition, we rely on this element, specifically a rectangular strip to form a tape with her and become the new element to the city. A twist, a formal game. In this way, we get a fully functional geometry.....more
