Anderson House,Salt Spring Island BC By D'Arcy Jones Design Inc

1500 SF
2007-

The undulating topography of this project's site feels remote and semi-rural, even though it is surrounded by suburban houses on bulldozed sites. This small two-bedroom house is simultaneously grounded in and suspended over a rocky bluff, with panoramic views in all directions. The client's requirement for a single storey house resulted in the diagrammatic parti of a heavy concrete plinth with an attached wooden springboard cantilevered out into the trees....D'Arcy Jones Design Inc.
